Rose Petal Face Mask Recipe

Ideal for delicate skin needing hydration. Use once a week to achieve wonderfully silky skin.

 

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of dry rose petals, ground really fine in an herb blender
  • 2 tablespoons of Rhassoul clay (also called Red Clay or Moroccan Clay)
  • some rose water (rose hydrosol) to mix everything
  • 5 drops of Rose Otto essential oil

 

How to

  1. After grinding the dry rose petals to a fine powder, mix in your clay.
  2. Spritz the mix with rose water until you have a nice paste.
  3. Add 5 drops of Rose Essential Oil and mix in well.
  4. Apply to clean, dry face and leave it for 10 minutes.
  5. Rinse off and follow with your favorite moisturizer or with a thin layer of Rose Hip Seed Oil.

Chamomile Body Butter

Calms your senses and nourishes irritated skin. Use as needed, ideal for delicate skin.

 

Ingredients

  • 2 oz shea butter
  • 2 oz mango butter
  • 2.5 oz apricot oil (another light carrier oil is ok too)
  • 40 drops of Chamomile Essential Oil

 

How to

  1. Gently melt the shea and mango butter, take off the heat and let it cool for 1/2 hour.
  2. Whip the two melted oils for a few minutes then place it in the fridge until the top and side solidify.
  3. Remove from the fridge and whip it with an electric mixer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add 40 drops of Chamomile Essential Oil and whip it one more time to ensure everything is mixed well.
  5. Place in a jar and close with a lid, use whenever needed (** start using a pea size amount and go from there, a little goes a long way!)
