Scars can be in just the wrong spot sometimes, causing an unsightly mark or discomfort.

Years ago I had some bothering me and looked into how I could get rid of them naturally. From this I created a completely natural recipe which I applied daily and handled any discomfort as well as completely reduced the appearance of them so I can barely notice anymore.

While it is not guaranteed a scar can be completely erased they can be soothed and their appearance minimized. Our Scar Cream, also called “Scar Eraser” is made of a few completely natural ingredients that assist with skin repair and minimizing the appearance of scars.

How is this done? Well first,

What is a Scar?

A scar is a an area of fibrous tissue that replaces normal skin after an injury, they are formed as part of the body’s healing process for torn or damaged skin.

To reduce the appearance of them or get rid of them all together it is necessary to deeply moisturize this tissue and provide the nutrients necessary for improvement.

If you have done your research on Cocoa Butter you know it is the king in deep moisturizing the layers of skin (epidermis and dermis). It is also known for increasing collagen production and assisting with the process of skin regeneration. Here is more about it:

About Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter, also called theobroma oil, is a pale-yellow or light brown solid fat extracted from the cocoa bean, primarily grown and harvested in North America. Cocoa beans are removed from the large cacao plant, they are then roasted, stripped and pressed to separate out the fat, known as cocoa butter.

This butter is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and fatty acids that deeply penetrate the layers of skin to moisturize, improve elasticity and protect it.  Its properties make it effective in smoothing or diminishing scars, wrinkles and stretch marks. It also helps relieve and heal skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Cocoa Butter is a very hard butter and smells like delicious rich chocolate. It has a melting point of 88 -101 ° F so melts at skin temperature.

Our Cocoa Butter is 100% pure, unrefined, fair trade and cruelty-free. This is a vegan friendly ingredient.

Here is what it looks like:

In addition to Cocoa Butter this scar cream contains:

Unrefined Shea Butter, which deeply moisturizes and helps soothe and repair dry, itchy, cracked skin. It is also effective in evening out skin tone, diminishing blemishes, dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles. Find out more about it here.

Rosehip Seed Oil, known as the “Oil of Youth” has a long list of powerful benefits. This includes its skin brightening properties that help restore the skins natural color and tone while lightening any unwanted dark spots. It is also loaded with Vitamin A and antioxidants, which promote skin regeneration. See what other benefits it has here.

And lastly, a carrier oil of choice (I recommend Jojoba, Apricot or Avocado Oil), all loaded with nutrients and benefits for the skin.

This formula is 100% butters and oils, so a little goes a long way. Start by melting a pea size amount of butter between your palms, then apply to the desired area. For best results, apply after a shower or bath, repeat twice a day or as needed.
