.60 oz. soap base

1 oz unrefined cocoa butter from Better Shea Butter

1/2 tablespoon jojoba oil

How to:

Vanilla Sugar Cubes

– Put the white sugar in a cup, stir in your vanilla extract and set aside

– Use a double boiler (a microwave is ok too, but be careful not to burn your butter) and melt the cocoa butter and the soap base together. Keep stirring to mix the butter and soap evenly.

– Remove the cocoa butter and the soap from the heat and stir in the jojoba oil

– Slowly pour the sugar and vanilla mix into your cocoa-soap-jojoba mixture while stirring to ensure all the sugar is coated

– Compact your sugar scrub in silicon molds of your choice (we used a small squares mold) and set it aside for a couple of hours until the cubes are hardened and are ready to be popped out of the molds

Cocoa Sugar Cubes

– Put the brown sugar and your cocoa powder in a cup, mix them well, and then set them aside

– Use a double boiler (a microwave is ok too, but be careful not to burn your cocoa butter) to melt the cocoa butter and the soap base together. Then, keep stirring until the butter and soap are evenly mixed.

– Remove the cocoa butter and soap from the heat and stir in the jojoba oil

– Slowly pour the sugar and cocoa mix into your cocoa butter-soap-jojoba mixture while stirring to ensure all the sugar is coated

– Compact your sugar scrub in silicon molds of your choice (we used a small squares mold) and set it aside for a couple of hours until the cubes are hardened and are ready to be popped out of the molds

And you are done!

Now start your shower or bath and scrub away that dead and dull skin. The sugar acts as a gentle exfoliator, the cocoa butter and jojoba oil will moisturize your skin and leave it silky and smooth, and the cocoa powder and vanilla extract will get you right into this wonderful holiday season (just make sure you do not eat them!).
