Our Yellow Shea Butter is pure unrefined shea butter with one additional ingredient,  the extract of the African Borututu Tree, which has been used by African natives for centuries to help with healing and soothing the skin. The inside of this tree is a deep yellow color and is how our Yellow Shea Butter gets its color. This butter does not contain palm oil or other ingredients.

Yellow Shea Butter is nutrient rich, packed with vitamins and antioxidants. It is effective in deeply moisturizing the skin and to help repair severely dry or cracked skin.

    Yellow Shea Butter is a semi soft butter, it melts upon skin contact so can be applied as it is or mixed with other ingredients to make skin care products. It is vegan and safe for all skin types.

    The color of this butter is deep yellow and it has a natural nutty/smoky smell to it. It is completely natural with no chemicals or additives.

    Yellow Shea Butter can give a light glow or slight tint when used on fair skin.

    How to Use

    Melt a pea size amount of the butter between your hands and apply to your face or body. You may also mix this into homemade skin care products.

     If your product is melted upon arrival, put it in the fridge until solid, then keep it stored outside the fridge in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
     If your product is too firm, you can soften and partially melt it by placing the jar in a bowl with 2 inches of hot water. Let the jar sit there until the butter has softened enough to be used.
