Our authentic African Black Soap is made by a women coop in Ghana and imported in small batches so it is fresh. This soap is popular for its deep cleaning and nourishing properties and the fact that it is 100% natural with no chemicals or fragrances.
Authentic Black Soap has a distinctive dark brown color which comes from its ingredients. It is safe for all skin types and particularly beneficial to balancing out oily skin, soothing irritated skin and cleansing sensitive skin.
For regular use it is best to lather the soap bar and spread onto the skin. You can also use the bar directly on the skin to exfoliate or follow our recipe to make it into a liquid soap.

For normal use, lather in your hands and apply the lather to the body and face. For added exfoliation lightly rub the bar directly against the skin. Or use it as a liquid soap as per the recipe on the description page.
